commercials.

thumbs up - the italian chicken sandwich commercial.  "made the same way since 1988.  you got a problem with that?"  clever.  flys in the face of all the other "new stacker, snacker, ultimate..." advertising.  i dig that.  but the sandwich makes me sick.


thumbs down - rogaine foam.  "the first foam that's fda approved to regrow hair".  this means jack sh!t.  do you think the fda cares if this foam regrows hair?  they just wanna make sure it doesn't make you grow scales.  the fda isn't in the buisiness of regrowing hair.  they could care less if it works.  but mentioning them somehow lends  credibility to this snake oil.

I hate that commercial as well, however for me it's a gender thing.

I hate that commercial, too, but my kids love it. They go "It's Daisy!!" and then their eyes glaze and get black and white spirals spinning in them. Yeah, great. My 3 and 4 year olds are going to be just like their father: girl crazy and all about legs.


I hate the Empire Today commercials. UGH!! I get it stuck in my head and ... shit, its stuck there just from typing it.

I like the iPod commercial with Dylan singing and the girl dancing. I'm not sure it's a great commercial in terms of marketing because I had to see it three times before I even realized it was for iPod.

And I hate all Geico commercials from the talking lizards to the cavemen.
