That's not really surprising, is it?  I thought the summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea were typically snowcapped for parts of the year.

That article mentions frozen fog.  I don't think I've ever encountered that before.

I have. We usually get it at least one a season. Nasty stuff, especially if your wipers are crappy and you are out of windshield washer fluid. . .Or have the summer formula in the tank.  :yes: :icon_evil:

The trees get coated in ice from it too, and when it's thick enough the trees start shedding limbs onto the power lines. . .  :biggrin:
