Another Madison County Domestic Violence Death

ANDERSON, Ind. — The man responsible for an apparent murder-suicide Friday evening had a strained relationship with his victim and law enforcement.

Mark A. Hope, 45, had a lengthy criminal history and record of punishment along with failed attempts at rehabilitation, according to public records.

He was also on probation Friday, when he apparently shot his ex-girlfriend Susan Kidd, 46.

Detectives determined Hope drove his gray Jeep Liberty SUV into the yard and through the front door of Kidd's home in the 1900 block of Tamarack Road at about 5 p.m. He then entered the house, shot Kidd in the head with a .40-caliber handgun, then shot himself in the head, Anderson public information officer Chad Boynton said.

Madison County Coroner Ned Dunnichay pronounced both dead at the scene. . .

  If we look closely at all of these murders lately all of the people have been crazy and nuts.  Strict gun laws will not stop these nuts from killing someone.
