They must have figured that since it was American they were accusing, they could fake some American justice and get away with it. They figured wrong.

The part I don't get is her saying she wants to return to Italy. If it were me, once I got out of there, I'd stay out!

I didn't agree with the verdict the first time around.  Shoddy and mishandled evidence.  Congratulations to Amanda Knox!  She's now free and will be back soon.
