Won't effect me 'cause I had no insurance at all for over 11yrs and may as well not have any now since medicare is next to nothing coverage wise.  Had to give my health ins up in '99' 'cause it rose from $196pr month to over $400pr month and $2000 deductible from the original $400 deductible and prescriptions were no longer covered.

"Since medicare is next to nothing coverage wise."  You lying god damn witch.  In many ways it is better than the Blue Cross and Blue Shield I had for years.  You're so god damn stupid.  Your whole body is up your ass.

You don't give a damn about the people who actually work for a living.  All you care about is getting a cut rate price at someone Else's expense.  :finger2:   Why don't you throw your Medicare card away ass hole.

So thats where your motivation is then? You were priced out of the insurance market in '99 so now you want EVERYBODY to get a good dry humpin?

That explains a lot. . .

I'm sayin' no one was bitchin' when it wasn't affecting them but now that it is affecting more and more people the bitchin' is gettin' louder and the blame is all misdirected.  Insurance rates started going up years ago under Clinton not Bush and Clinton had nothing to do with it actually it was attorney's who got suit happy causing doctors to have to pay more for malpractice insurance and having to charge their patients more for visits, operations, and tests.  Yes, there are legit law suits but it got way out of hand and pretty boy Edwards was part of it.  Of course the attorney's in congress weren't and aren't going to let tort reform happen because they would make less money if they were to lose an election and have to go into practice again.  I'm sure they could strike a happy medium on limits of liability to make things fair in a legit lawsuit.

Bottom line is insurance companies had to pay out more in claims so premiums had to go up.  I and many other people just started being affected by it sooner than you and a lot of others because I was paying all of mine rather than getting a special group rate from or having it all paid by an employer.

It seems to me that when I complained about the CEO of Wellpoint the second largest health insurance company in America made 6 million dollars in two years for salary.

You said you didn't care how much a company CEO made as long as you could buy health insurance.  The pig you were trying to put lip stick on came back to bite you.  :rotfl:   Your husband you said was a union steel or iron worker should have health insurance for you, so what are you crying  about.  Just give up your Medicare card and quit bitching. :witch:

Your problem is that you're too selfish to give anyone who you think you're better than a break.  :witch: :knife:

Lawsuits apparently are NOT having the impact their wolf crying would seem to imply. US Healthcare companies (Insurance) are posting profits that are only exceeded by big oil's profits! And they have been for years now.

They have the billions in profit with which to spew propaganda designed to make you see them as victims, when in fact they are nothing more than another greedy corporation.

This shit kills me. They want you to provide your biometric numbers so that they can advise you on how to lead a healthier lifestyle. Bullshit! THAT is what I pay my doctor for and I don't need them, a faceless, soulless corporation, who has never even set eyes on me, telling me what I should and should not do! And despite what they may say about "not using the information against you" I know for a fact they use those numbers to determine insurability and risk!

And don't tell me how you were impacted by it sooner than I was! I have been bitching about it for DECADES now, and it is exactly why when the POTUS announced the details of HIS bill I was elated. Then congress took the teeth out of it and it now has made things beyond intolerable!

What you are going to get under the OHP is government dictating types of treatments and who gets them.  You will also be waiting in line for treatments and appointments because there will be a shortage of doctors due to so many being insured all of a sudden and doctors who will opt out of treating anyone but the rich who can afford "premium" insurance.  There is a shortage of doctors now and it won't get any better.  Yes, they can lower the test standards for entering medical school and passing the exam but then what do you get?  Not the best doctors I can assure you. And I ask again, if it is so good for all of us why is congress and the president exempt from it?  None, or most of the dems that voted for it would even hear of being put on it themselves and even exempted their staff members.

Nothing more than a bunch of puffery and the sky is falling tactics.

The only thing the ORIGINAL bill was going to do was regulate the medical INSURANCE industry! The rest of that crap is nothing but scare propaganda drummed up by the MULTI BILLION DOLLAR health care insurance industry!

As an aside, I don't want to be covered by the fuggin changes the bill they did pass have driven!

If that was the only thing the original bill was going to do why was it so damn huge?  Also if there were that many regulations being put into place by the original bill what insurance company would have been left to insure anyone?

The truth of the matter is that the deregulation of the insurance industry created this monster, (and effectively erased paperwork that would dwarf the original bill), and all the original bill was intended to do was to put controls on the INSURANCE industry.

Do a little homework and see just how much profit those healthcare insurance companies are making each year. As I said earlier, the only reason they aren't number 1 is because the oil companies own that spot!

So the original bill wasn't to get everyone covered it was just to put regulations back on  prices and coverages in other words. Well, if that was the case why was all that money needed to implement the regulations?  I'd still like to know why Pelosi said, "just pass it and then find out what's in it".  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoE1R-xH5To
