Seems like that isn't the only mistake he's made lately.

Obama visit to UK under the microscope

I wonder just how well your chosen candidate du jours would stand up to such intense observation? Wonder how each one of US would fare under such observation?

Come on, the media and the propaganda machine are really digging here, and one has to ask exactly what the end game is?

Yes, he made a very COMMON mistake by misdating something. YES, he has made a few COMMON mistakes surrounding etiquette. . . (Shall we dig up the Chimps list of similar COMMON mistakes?)

NEWSFLASH! We already know you hate the man! IS it really necessary to use the proctoscope 24/7/365?

As has CLEARLY been demonstrated, even when the POTUS endorses the opposition's VERY OWN plans, they do a 180 and trash him over it. . . Its as obvious as anything can get that the "end game" is to trash not only the office of POTUS, but the man who holds the position! (One really has to ask why that is?)

It's now 2 days older than dirt, and I suggest you either create a new game plan or get over yourselves!

My isn't it strange how we rake others, Tea Partiers and those of any opposing opinions, over the coals but when it's Obama it's a minor mistake anyone could have made.  Don't you even see the hypocrisy in that?  I'm just making an observation here and knowing what would be said and done if it were Palin, Bush, Cheny, or some of the others who had made the exact same mistakes.

How, exactly, does the dating mistake impact the nation? How does it impact you? How is it anything but a VERY common mistake that is being purposely magnified in order to discredit the man somehow?

WHERE, exactly, has the POTUS attempted to use any of the "mistakes" as a means to increase publicity surrounding him for personal gain? ? ?

I'll tell you what is pretty damned amazing to me; just how many perfect people there are in the world!
One would think with all this perfection that we'd be in better shape as a nation. . .

Remember this next time you start to make cracks about others of the opposing party or opinions next time you start to blast them all over the place.  This statement is not just intended for you but for the others who are much worse at it than you are because you don't seem to do that as much as most of the others.  It wasn't just the date mistake but the others which were made while there this time and over the course of his term in case you didn't click the link and read the article.

Even a drowning victim will grab a straw if they had the slightest idea it would save them.  I think the Republicans are really very scared.  Knowing Republican, they will do the most pettie and slimy thing to win.  They have no morals.  They prove it over and over and over again.

That is not actually the root cause for this perceived issue now is it?

The root cause is your inability to assume anything near a neutral position in order to apply critical thought to a given issue or situation. You, ( and others here), consistently view duplicate situations as a gaping maw or minor crack, solely based upon whether or not doing so supports your personal world view or opinion.  The only consistency in this is your (and others) inconsistent application of the decision making process; which additionally consistently invalidates your position(s).

Lets take the topic of this thread as a primary example of just how bad the whole situation is. Opponents were provided proof via authority figures statements, facsimile copies, etc., and yet the yammering went on for YEARS after the election board ruled on this question and the candidate's eligibility! And despite his eventual release of the actual document, it persists to this very day!

The pessimistic attitude of the opposition has left them "ate up" over their failure to attain the popular vote in the last presidential election, and has served to punish every single American citizen since!

If you don't believe that, consider how quickly our elected leadership has reacted to foreign disasters, sending hundreds of millions in cash, aid, and relief to Haiti, Japan, etc., etc., in a matter of days, and yet, when it comes to Joplin Missouri, we hear them demanding cuts before they will approve one red cent in aid to those American citizens who have been devastated!

ALL of this is driven by the hate and malice being perpetuated by our elected government representation and their bleating sheep!

EDIT: Nice try throwing the "did you read the link" rock! I do not have that propensity. I actually read before I arrive at a decision, and then fact check sources before believing them. . . Unlike others. . .

Nighthawk

Now lets look and see what actually happened to try and get get the funds to aid in these disasters. After all, the funds have to come from somewhere don't they? It sure as hell beats adding to the deficit. We sure as hell can't borrow it as we are at the debt cap.

Ultimately 1 billion dollars will be diverted from the Auto Technology fund to FEMA's disaster relief fund. The funds that were set aside for Auto Technology loans has been sitting there since the fund was first established and even with this diversion of funds there is still enough left in the fund to service all loan requests pending and still have money left over.

This move makes absolute sense to me. No addition to our debt and victims get the relief funds they need.

So, who is screaming foul about this? The Democrats.

Now, this bill to divert these funds passed the house and now goes to the Senate. We'll have to wait and see if it passes there. If it doesn't, who do we blame for the victims not getting the funds they need?

Well why not?  That is who you Republicans wanted to blame for the housing bubble burst.  The people who were conned by the crooked super rich bankers and stock marketeer into buying house the crooks knew they couldn't afford.  Thieves in $2,000 Brooks Brothers suits.

It's truly amazing how righteous you can be Night Dork.  Let us pray.  :preach:  :pope:

Republicans blamed the Democrats and the Democrats blamed the Republicans for the housing bubble burst.

Again, the truth lies in the middle. Both parties and more are to blame.

I bought a house just before the 'burst' and they tried to con me into a larger, more expensive home that 'they' said I could afford. I knew better and bought what I knew I could afford. Sadly, a lot of people let themselves be conned into buying above their means and it eventually came back to bite us all in the ass.

In truth, the 'blame' for this goes to both parties all the way down to the irresponsible/naive home buyer.

You know Night Hawk that was one of your best  post.  I really mean it.  You made sense and you said it right.  I hope this is not the only thing I agree with you on.  I can get along with a person that think like this.  :salute:  :flag:  :tiphat:
