well it don't take a college major to figure it out, but, the phrase is a tad outdated, and the chance of someone being offended, besides Richard Simmons is kind of a stretch....imo

My question is,  even tho Richard Simmons is wealthy and from all reports that I have heard. is a real nice and kind man.  Are you slamming him because he was born gay?  If you are I don't think you can call that having a sense of humor.

I don't think it is nice for anyone to make fun of a person with what some people might call a birth defect.  Am I reading you right?

Birth defect?

Have you read anything on it.  NO!   There have been scientific study of pituitary glands in gay and straight men and have found a difference in them.  I seen the the pictures of the slides of brain tissue and there is a difference.

Most scientist believe your are born gay where most uneducated person think it is by choice.  I believe the scientist.  Not some one with rolled eyes.

I can't speak for Anne, but I think she was commrnting on the choice of words "birth defect". While there is obviously a difference between being born heterosexual or homosexual, I don't think anyone classifies the difference as a "defect".

Exactly, Sandy. Being gay or lesbian is "normal" (whatever that is) for some people, not a defect.

Now we're down to counting fly specks (fly shit) in the pepper.  Christians and other uneducated people doesn't think being gay is normal.  To me if being born with an open spine, no legs, part of a brain is a birth defect, couldn't  it be considered born with certain cells missing in part of your brain, like the scientist have found, to be a birth defect.  Something was sure missing at birth.

Aren't you streaching the real fact just to say I'm wrong.  Why don't you prove it to me that it not a birth defect.
