It's amazing that the deer kept coming back.

It makes you wonder when they learn to be fearful. Neither of those animals had any idea that their friendship was unusual.  Is there a lesson there for humans? or is it inevitable that as we mature our differences become barriers?

Prolly deeper than you wanted to go

I had this experience w/a youn deer (colt?) twice. Once I was in a car and she was very curious about how the car smelled and what was inside. LOL I sat and waited for her to check us out and ove on. The other time, I was hiking and came within a couple feet of a young deer. Your instinct is to stop and watch and I did for a second and he/she watched me too. Then I realized that mama was prolly somewhere close and I didn't want her feeling that her baby was threatened so I eased out of the area.
