18 U.S.C. § 600 prohibits public officials from using government-funded jobs or programs to advance their partisan political interests...
The offer -- if there ever was one, we have only "anonymous" sources, and Sestak himself (way back in February, when nobody cared for some reason) stating that any offer was made -- was for a non-salaried position, according to the rumor. So it doesn't satisfy the "government-funded" requirement.

Quote..and 18 U.S.C. § 595, prohibits any person employed in any administrative position by the United States "in connection with any activity which is financed...by the United States...us[ing] his official authority ...

And nobody used any "official authority." Bill doesn't have any, and isn't employed in any administrative position by the United States.

So who ya planning to charge, Henry? And with what? And I still want to know why none of you thought this was worth beating your breasts and shrieking "felony" over back in February, when Sestak made the claim in the interview with Larry Kane. Think about it, the only injured party -- IF anything really happened -- was Magic Bullet Specter. And he lost because Sestak didn't take the bribe. I'm really confused. Who do you believe is the evil-doer? Based on what evidence?

I never seen anyone arrested of a friendly bet.  But I don't blame your for not taking the beat.  It was a sure bet for me.  I would have framed your C-note.  :sweetheart:

Try him then. Throw him in jail and out of office, and spend tens of millions of dollars doing it too. Go ahead.
This is a democrat administration, money is no object (so far).

Let's just go ahead and do this.

You are surly joking.  Only the Republicans will spend millions and millions of dollars chasing shadows.

Do you remember all of the money the Republicans along with Kennith Star spent trying to get Clinton.

If you are going after Obama, your sure going to have to come up with something better than this.  :drool2:  :drool1:

The Republican are grabbing for any straw to get Obama and their drinking the poison  :koolaid: again
