SLICK ROADS!

As I left a local business about a half hour ago, I sat at the stoplight leading out of the business center I was in. When the light turned green for me, I sat there and watch 2 cars in a row flat out blow the red light. As I made my way along Scatterfield Road, I watched a third car blow right through yet another red light.

As I approached the entrance to my subdivision at a whopping 20 mph, I cruised right past the entrance to the place and had a hell of a time keeping my truck on the road. After going down to the next parking lot, I managed to turn around and eventually made it safely home.

Since that time I have watched 5 different vehicles have the exact same issue getting into our subdivision due to the black ice covering the roads out there! Watch yourselves if you have to go out, and leaving the house tomorrow morning. That stuff will kill! I am now sitting in the observation portion of the stall, and watching for the first vehicle to slide off or hit a pole due to the ice out there. (Phone by my side to summon help when it happens. And I know it is going to. . .)

We have a car sitting in the middle of the road down a few houses from us with the flashers on and I'm hoping no one hits it.
