Back to, are we seeing a theme here?

Our oldest son has been visiting, on leave since mid December, and has headed back to Idaho this morning.  We have enjoyed visiting with them ( boy and his dog Mac ), but I think it will be a relief to be back to the old boring routine again.  Having the extra person and dog in the house tends to add to the day to day activities somewhat.

We did get part of my old garage insulated while he was home, plus he/we built an extra shelf above the workbench.  It was his idea, as I was OK with things the way it was, but the extra space is nice.  He saw a need for it, so we did it.  Although I wish he rolled the Goldwing outside before he fired up the table saw   Guess what my project will be this week?

Tonight it will just be son #2 and myself, so supper should be simple to decide on.  The two boys don't eat all the same things, so fixing meals that pleases both of them can get a little repetitive.  Tomorrow the wife will be home for the weekend, so if #2 son goes out, we can have some alone time, for the first time in a month. :smitten:  Normally I would have traveled to Speedway and spent a week night in the apartment with her, but with our son home on leave, it did not happen.  I try to do that at least once per month (cue bad porno music) under normal circumstances.  It gives me a break and she enjoys the company.

Looks like the weather may come around to more motorcycle friendly in the coming month, so there is good news there as well.

She was driving 1000 miles/week, and when gas hit $4 we got the apartment.  It was a wash as far as money went. but she is far more rested ans sociable come Friday evening.  4 hours on the road every day was taking a toll.
