They call it Naked Hiking Day."

You know .... in the south, naked has two meanings depending on how you say it.

Naked - got no clothes on
Nekkid - got no clothes on and he's up to somethin'

Yeah, I can't imagine how uncomfortable that would be. I love to hike. But with terrain like that I like to wear jeans and if it's not too hot, long sleeves b/c even then I get scratched,  bitten, and itchy. Plus you should have a scarf or hat to protect you from ticks. I just know that if I tried that I's be a walking target for poison ivy. :spooked:

There was an interesting comment in the story about those little buggers ...

"there's an advantage to hiking naked in a buggy area: wood ticks on the skin are easier to spot."
