Broadcaster Paul Harvey dead at 90

harveycap150.jpgBroadcasting legend Paul Harvey has died at age 90.

ABC radio network spokesman Louis Adams said Harvey died today in a Phoenix hospital, surrounded by family members.

Oh that is so sad.  I remember listening to him around lunch time on the country station when I worked in the factory for my summer job.

I don't remember ever listening to an entire show but I would catch bits and pieces sometimes if I happened to be with someone who was listening to him.

Yep, I used to listen to his radio program...if you can call it that...seemed like it was just a short at the end of the news program. Anyway, my favorite story was about someone who's car had been stolen. He told the story of a couple friends who had parked their car and when they came back it was gone, but their main concern was the poor MONITOR in the back seat that had health problems. :biggrin:  The next day, Harvy reported that the car had been found shortly after his broadcast and the monitor was unharmed. ;D
