Today, when I got home I discovered that someone had hit one of my cats on the road, in front of my house AGAIN. It's very upsetting to me that people drive soooo fast on country roads. Sure the cat shouldn't have been in the road, but outside animals tend to roam. I don't understand why people have such reckless disregard for other people and animal safety. I know for a fact that they were speeding. If they hadn't been then his eyes wouldn't have been blown out of his head, and he wouldn't have bit his tongue in half. :'(
I'll tell everybody a little bit about the victim..... His name was Handsome, he had beautiful long grey hair, and a 3/4 length tail. He was very docile and extremely lovable. He was also my welcoming committee, everyday when I got off work. He'd see me coming down the road, and always ran down the driveway, to greet the car, when I stopped at the mailbox. Sometimes, he'd stand in the middle of the driveway ,and wouldn't move. So, I always got out and put him in my lap, and we drove down the rest of the driveway. Because of a speeder I no longer have my welcoming committee. :'( I'm going to do a stake out, and find out who the little punk is that keeps killing my cats. I have a pretty good idea. When I do find out this person is going to be very sorry.

Guess what!!!! It wasn't Handsome!!!!! It was Oscar. Oscar is Dudley's twin brother. There are 4 long haired grey ones that look identical. Handsome and Oscar both had the 3/4 inch tails. I didn't realize it until I called the cats in for supper. Much to my surprise ,Handsome came in from a field across the road. I couldn't believe it!!!! I just stood there and stared at him for a minute, I thought I was soooo grief stricken that I was seeing things LMAO!!!! Man, you talk about a wonderful surprise. :sofa: Now, I have to call my Mom,and break it to her that it's Oscar. He was my Mom's favorite. :'( I'm still gonna find out who is hitting all of my cats though.
