I saw this yesterday and found a link to the high resolution picture of this image. If I can find it again, I'll post it. Although this is nothing more than a rock, the image I saw yesterday was quite extraordinary. If I can find it again, I'll post it.
Well from what I can see it is nothing more than a rock; and the mind's need to make sense out of everything. . .

If you're using FireFox, click on the picture after it loads and you can scroll around in high resolution. The image of the "Martian" is to the lower left in the full image.

Scroll to the very lower left of the image. Then scroll up along the edge of the image. The Martian is sitting there on the rock about 3 inches in from the left side on my resolution.
Here's where you should be looking. I darkened the rest of the image and highlighted where the Martian is located in the main image.

It's just a geo-thermal formation that just happens to look like a living thing.

All that little picture proves is that the planet, much like this one, is alive. Now if they could only succeed in having that little Martian scooter actually hit a living being on that planet. . .

Life on Mars? We may have found it -- and killed it

We may have already encountered Martian life about 30 years ago and accidentally killed it, according to a new analysis of NASA's Viking mission to Mars presented Sunday at a major astronomy conference in Seattle.
Did you ever see the image in the large picture HH?
Also, let's not forget the Old Man of the Mountain. Too bad he collapsed four days after this picture was taken.

yes, thanks......it is STILL a very cool picture.........kind of eerie....
You know, after looking at that picture in HD, I find it strikingly similar to Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas. . .
