Title: Religious Truths...
Post by: Henry Hawk on January 11, 2008, 09:03:37 AM
Religious Truths:

During these serious times, people of all faiths should remember these four religious truths:

1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.

2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.

4. Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.

That's because as soon as they walk out of the church door they take on their true form as Satan's little helpers. :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted:

not to gang up on the Baptists....but a friend quipped a week or two ago that "If you invite more than one Baptist to a party, don't buy liquor. If you only invite one, but extra"

I grew up in a Baptist church and saw enough to think that Henry (and Gryphon) are spot on. ;D

We have a total of 72 Baptist churches in our town of about 40,000.  They are all broken up into different sects that I don't quite understand.
Primitive Baptist, Southern Baptist, Missionary Baptist --- the list goes on.

I grew up Catholic and there was only one way to worship.  Grew up confused anyways!!  LOL
