Title: The "LITTLE" T h i n g s
Post by: Wickey on August 25, 2007, 02:48:51 PM
I read this and wanted to share it. I hope it makes you ponder things the way it did me.  :)
The "LITTLE" T h i n g s

As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One went back to
Answer the telephone .

One had a child that dawdled

And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be at this very moment ...

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong,

The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

It reminds me of the 'Final Destination movies'. Everything is planned. We're just a piece of the plan. It's God's chess game.

It really does. Those 'Final Destination' movies really creep me out. What if that stuff was true?  :spooked: It would be like a row of dominos LOL!!!

They're good and creepy.  :spooked:  It kind of goes on everybody having, a certain place in life, where they meet their death. If one person is spared, it changes the order of the cycle. It's hard to explain, but they really are cool movies. You must see them.

I love creepy suspense filled movies. I watch "Chiller "channel all the time. They have a lot of gory movies, and reruns of series. I was  a Peaks Freak, when "Twin Peaks" was on the air. Now it's on "Chiller" so I'm on  :cld9: I also like the old series "Night Gallery", some of those episodes are damn creepy, and I love it.  :spooked:

The crash scene in part 2 was awesome. That scene is one of my all time favorites. Those movies are creepy good.I love being scared.  :spooked: As long as it's not real. LOL!!!  You can turn the tv off ,if you get too scared, but you can't turn off real life.

But what if you would have been 30 seconds further and out of the road when that bus hits you? All that stuff could just slow you down and be the cause of it.

I wonder how many died because before they had to leave they took that last min phone call?

What I'm trying to say is, when it is your time, it is your time.

:thinking2:

You've got a great point there. I think your right. When your number is called, you're out of that poker game permanently.  :dead:
