Title: Positive Report by Petraeus Could Split House Democrats on War...

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Monday that a strongly positive report on progress on Iraq by Army Gen. David Petraeus likely would split Democrats in the House and impede his party's efforts to press for a timetable to end the war.

Interesting question being tossed around out there....WHAT IF we get a good report, from Gen Petaeus?...Do the dems on the Hill, still 'bring our troops home' or do they, respect the Generals report and support the surge?

This could be very interesting, with elections just around the corner...

My guess is they will try to rush something through and if the report comes back good they'll say he is lying and want him investigated.

The dems will do everything they can to discredit it as usual.

Even though I'm notta Dem, I will say he was just following orders.
I won't expect anything new from Washington.  The Repubs will continue their mutinies.  The Dems will continue with their politicking.  The anti-war movement is rolling too fast to stop it now.  Even Rush sounds panicked as his fat body sits in the radio booth about to keel over from being so full of shitzelweitzer.

I do sometimes.  I just hope I'm tuning in when his aorta finally pops and the sweet sound of silence comes through the EIB network.

That was wrong.  I apologize.  Actually, I don't disagree with EVERYTHING he says.  I could do without his misleading, flawed tactics.  I find Glenn Beck more tolerable...well a little bit.

nailed it!..me!... ;)

it amazes me that the Senators that voted for him to do the report, all thought he was the man for the job, until, he reports his findings and now he is a puppet......saw this one coming, eh ;)
