Well, my 25th High School Class Reunion is in August. I don't feel like it's been 25 years. I feel like I'm still in my late 20's or early 30's.
It's an all weekend event. Friday is a casual meeting with drinks (like old days, I'm sure - lol ) :beers: :shots: :food4: :food5: :wine: I'm sure the yearbooks will be out for us all to laugh :rotfl: and remember the early 1980s. Saturday is a golf outing (FORE), then dinner and a dance :egypt: later that evening. Sunday is family picnic day or as I call it - the sober day. :uncle:
Does any of my Zone friends attend their class reunions? Do you have any good stories about yours?
I went to the 25th class reunion. It was a couple hour affair at The Elks in Elwood. Nothing to write home about.
Went to my ten year. Swore off them after that. Same old crap different cover. No need to relive glory days of high school. . .
I would actually go to another one. I don't care about the clique's or the glory days. I like to see how everyone changes. Who will I recognize, who will recognize me.
From what I understood, only one person had to ask who I was. I didn't think I had changed much in 25 years. But a lot of them had changed. Only a 1/3 to 1/2 the class showed up.

Its amazing looking at that how different people age.
Pari, you might as well have been at a ten year reunion for all I would have known (same for a few others) Others look like grandparents!
I guess I must have been an angry young man back then. I never cared much for the majority of my class-mates. I had a close circle of friends and I stayed within that circle for the most part. And I didn't kill anybody either!

Have fun with it, BEG! 8)
When my 25 year class-reunion rolls around, I may very well feel differently than I do now about attending them.
For awhile I was on myspace and was able to "reunite" with just about everyone from my graduating class that had a myspace account.
I've opted to skip the few that my class has held because quite frankly, I have little desire to see anyone that's not still in my life.

How funny, I have changed some since that picture nearly 3 years ago. 30 pounds lighter. (not all that good!) And I was a grandmother 6 times over at that time! My 2 youngest grandchildren were just a year old, the 2 oldest were 7 going on 8. A couple of people at the reunion had never even been parents, let alone grandparents. I understand you meant, age and looks, but I just find it funny that some that look like grandparents, weren't and some that were, don't look it. :)
Tonight is the beginning of the Class Reunion weekend for my class. Cocktails tonight, golf tomorrow morning, dinner and dancing tomorrow night and picnic on Sunday. Fun! Fun! Fun!
We had a blast for our tenth. It was drinks on Friday, Drinks on Saturday, and a picnic Sunday. I'm sure you can guess which activities had the most attendance and which one didn't. The 15 is next summer and I have to get cracking on this thing. We probably will just have a one day thing. Most people that came were from out of town so I'm sure we all want to see family and other friends while in town too. At least I know I do! I need to see Sunny's house and babies!
My weekend was amazing!!! All of the reunion outings had a good turnout. The usual players were there having a blast just like in school.
I consumed a few :shots: on Friday and Saturday night. Played a mean round of golf on Saturday morning!
Mr Fishers and I finally got some 'sleep' :smitten:
We saw 'Bourne Ultimatum' Sunday! :pop: Great movie if you've seen the first 2 Bourne movies.
I went to my 40 year class reunion the other day.
I thought it was going to be fun, but just a bunch of old people showed up!

Oh Monroe how lame! I hope you showed those old foggies how to party like a rock star!
Homecoming at my alma mater is in Sept. The members of our fraternity usually meet up and we have a blast. Normally I anguish over what to wear. This year it will be which "wig" to wear! LMAO!! O0
