As Americans we all love our fast food. . What is your favorite restoraunt??? What is your favorite item on their menu??? Enquireing minds want to know.
Is the topic fast food restaurants, or any restaurant?

Any and all restaurants.
Shamefully, I hit the McDonald's this morning at 7:30 AM for a sausage biscuit with egg. I hate all McDonald's food after breakfast. Breakfast is the only time you'll see me there.
The kids favor McDonalds. I've personally lost all affection for any of the popular "hamburger" chains. Even the salads are limp. I do like some of the sub/salad places.
My favorite thing to do is stop at a mom and pop fast food place. I've found some of the best food at the craziest looking places.

I love fast food ,but I get burned out on it. Mostly I cook homemade food. Have you ever tried, Subways sweet onion chicken terriaki???? OMG that sandwich is GRUB!!! They have brocolli and cheese soup that is delicious.
You know, I haven't tried their soups. If I grab Subway, it's at lunch and I keep a stock of soup in my drawer for when I don't feel like going out. I have had their Chicken Teriyaki and it's delicious. I like all of their breads too. The honey oat is my favorite.

The honey oat is my favorite too. It always smells soo good when you walk in. All those cookies and the bread baking makes my mouth water LOL!!! I sound like some bread crazed beast.
There's a bakery near my house that bakes up hot loaves of Italian bread every day and puts them out at 5:00 for $1. I stop in occasionally and grab a loaf while it's hot. Then I take it home and slather some honey butter on a slice...yummmm
But I know what you mean about the smell. I walk in there, just to get the Italian bread, but I'd love to walk out w/a lot more. LOL Sometimes I'll grab some creme horns for the kids or some muffins for breakfast. I love that place!

I love fresh baked bread. :smitten: When I was little, we didn't have much money, so my Mom made our bread from scratch. It was awesome!!! I like to bake cup cakes they are my favorite. I make cupcakes for just about any occassion. Then I deliver them to friends. I always suprise them by just poping in. I always feel so good, when I see the look on their faces.  I love to eat them too.On occasion I've been known, to attack them 4 at a time. Im such a pig.!! If your gonna make it then you gotta taste it. Thats my motto and I'm sticken to it. LMAO!!!
I'm a sucker for a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from anywhere.
Do you have a Tutor's Biscuit World there? Yum Yum
No, but we have a Spanky's
Oh..I'm not familiar w/Spanky's at all.
hmmm...my favorite restaurants and the ultimate fast food in my opinion: almost anywhere with an all you can eat buffet. Having as many kids as I do, it is always expensive to go out to a sit down restaurant and they never seem to give you enough food for the prices they charge. So to have my kids eat mostly healthy, we frequent Ponderosa or Ryan's. When we lived in Jax, Fla, we also had the option of a Quincy's, and now when we visit there, they have a Golden Corral near my mom's house. I love a good buffet, but if I'm eating alone, I love Lee's Famous Recipe Gizzards. I buy them by the pint.
I'm a fast food junkie. I love it all.
I'll go one further, I love food period. :smitten: If it's remotely edible I'm there LOL!!!   As I post this I'm having a grilled chicken salad with shredded Parmesan cheese and Western dressing, and I'm chasing it with a Coke , YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY :smitten: :smitten: and its only 10:20 a.m. here in Illinois. I'm hitting the salad early today LOL!!!!
Well let's see...when it comes to fast food:
I really can't handle McD's but if I HAVE to go there, it's Chicken Nuggets.
Taco Bell, I have to have a chicken quesadilla and the cheesy fiesta potatoes.
KFC is one of the famous bowls.
I'm really not a fast food fan...but, being on the road for work, this is often the fanfare!
(say THAT one 10 times fast! LOL!)
I really detest buffet style...simply because I always end up consuming way too much.
And I'm also not a fancy restaurant diner...
I much prefer the "middle of the road" choices, e.g.: Ruby Tuesdays, Bahama Breeze, Applebee's, TGIF's, Garfields, etc..
Oh, and welcome Dexter! I don't believe we've "met"? I am Sunny...in PA.
That chicken salad sounds delicious. I had a Hawaiian potato salad at a work pot luck this week (don't worry, I got the recipe) and it was so awesome!
I agree with you Sunny, I enjoy those places too because I don't like rushing through my food..I like to relax when I eat..preferably on something more comfortable than a hard plastic chable (chair + table combo) eating with sporks (spoon + fork combo). Don't ask, lil' Mojo informed me of those.
Dex, I thought you were from Indy?

Have you tried the bisquit Famous Bowl??? It has that awesome white gravy, that white gravy is to die for, :smitten: Tommorrow will be our busiest day of the year. We usually do somewhere between 5 and 8 thousand dollars on Mothers Day alone. :spooked: I'm working 9-3 so I'll probably roll in to my driveway dead.LOL :spooked:
I'm a junkie! I do love a breakfast sandwich from anywhere but if given a choice I'd say the ones at Sonic are awesome. They are on Texas toast. I like Biscuitville too. Bojangles cajun chicken sandwich is good. We have a fast food BBQ place here so I go and get a BBQ sandwich with slaw on it. Those new chicken wraps at McDonalds are tasty. I love a Whopper Jr with cheese. I will eat just about anything at Taco Bell. I haven't been to KFC in a while because I like the chicken at Bojangles more. I like Quiznos and Jersey Mikes for my subs.
I can eat pizza everyday of the week!
I think I need to go to the gym!

Hi!! :) I'm Dexter in Illinois. I've never heard of Bahama Breeze. Buffet style is okay for me, as long as there's a sneeze guard on it .LOL A friend of mine was at Sirloin Stockade, and saw an old lady lick the gravy ladle ,and put it back in the gray.  I thought I was going to puke when she told me that. LMAO!!!

Nope western Illinois. I got this link off of an Indianapolis forum. I spent this morning planting Lilacs, tomatoes, green peppers, and last but not least snap dragons. We're also doing some landscaping. The weather here today is beautiful,it's 81 degrees. I decided to take advantage of it ,to get some stuff done.
Cool...nice to see someone from Illinois...close to Chicago, by chance? (Okay, it's about the only place I could think of off the top of my head ).
Yes, I failed to mention the *real* reason why I can't much handle going to buffets...sneeze guard?
Heck, I'm not a total germ-o-phobe -- but, I have small children & I know what 'they' do at home...but, when I think about the other 10million children that do the same things right before they handle all of the dinner bisquits. No thanks!
Plus, ever just observe people at a rest area or public restroom? (Specifically the A D U L T S!~)
Nope, don't make it a habit of hanging out around those places either -- but the next time you do, take note of how many people wash their hands.

I don't even want to think about the people, that handle the food. :no:for some reason, people don't even think about, what type of germs might be on their hands. I tend to think it's just laziness.I f a person cant even wash their hands, after they wipe their ass, they must be too lazy to even live.LOL!!!
Was it busy today, Dexter?

It was sheer hell!!! I did get off an hour early, so that was wonderful. The worst thing about running a cash register,is when people don't know what they want, and keep changing it.  There was so much confusion, about an hour in, I was ready to rip my hair out and eat it!!! LMAO  Thank God I'm off tommorrow.  Tommorrow I'll recoperate, and hit it again on Tuesday. Three days a week I do the early shift. Those are what we call salad days. Thats when I make Cole slaw, macaroni salad, baked beans etc. etc.O n those days I work 9:30 -2:00.I go up on the floor at 11:00 to my register and finish my shift on counter. I'm super glad it's over for another year.

Pittsburgh doesn't have Bahama Breeze yet? That stinks! Their appetizers are wonderful!

Everything sounds good, but the pineapple. The only thing I eat pineapple in, is Virginia baked ham. The rest sounds yummy!!
I thought it was a lil' different as well, but tasty. Technically, I bet you could replace the chicken w/ham. I usually fry some turkey bacon and chop it up and add it to my potato salad anyway.
