There have been many unsolved murders in history. Some of the most notable are The Chandra Levy case, the Jon Benet Ramsey case, and the Black Dahlia case. Will these cases ever be solved??? The more time that goes by, the less likely it is ,these cases will have closure. Is there a case that you would discuss???
the black dahlia has always fascinated me. always.
jon benet was probably the most tragic, in my opinion. (have you seen her pageant photos? omg, what were her parents thinking? you cannot sexualize a child for the sake of entertainment or fame without consequence.)

I dont think they'll ever solve the Black Dahlia murder. I think whoever killed her is more than likely dead. Jon Benet's killer will probably never be found either. The Boulder police department really bungled that investigation. At first I really thought her parents did it. There was a peodophile, that they thought might have been going to kidnap her. When they investigated him, he killed himself,so I think there was a good posibilty that he did it.I just hope if the person is still out there, that someday they'll make him pay. Both of these victims deserve justice.
all victims do.
i used to look up unsolved cases in my spare time. there are many very unsettling things that have occured with the killers still roaming about.
i think i read that there are over 30 serial killers walking amongst the rest of society at any given time.
Probably more than 30. Alot of them are never caught because they stay mobile. They never stay anywhere for any length of time. Angel Resendez- the Railroad killer, hopped on and off trains. He killed some people here in Illinois. That was a scarey time,my husband was hauling loads of freight, that he'd pick up in rail yards. I worried constantly, he get jumped by that yahoo, because he was picking up his loads at like 4:00am. So it was kind of scarey. Angel Resendez was put to death a few months ago.
i am a firm believer in the death penalty.
i don't doubt that there are more than 30. (that is just a rough estimate anyway...) you never know who your neighbors are.

I agree about the death penalty. It doesn't appear to deter crime much tho. Most of them sit on death row at least 10 years. I think they should only be allowed 2 appeals. If they're found guilty of the crime on appeal, they should set an execution date at that hearing. I really think they need to overhaul the system, they're much to lenient, about how these criminals have all these rights. In some states the prisoner gets to choose the method of execution. I think it's a crock. What rights did the victims have, they were given no choice. I'm a very stanch supporter of the death penalty. :devil29:
