QuoteHi, I'm Kirk Cameron and my partner and I Ray Comfort come to you tonight not as molecular biologists or rocket scientists, but simply as an author and an actor, and we want to do two things that fly in the face of convention. One, we'd like to show you that the existence of God can be proven, 100 percent, absolutely, without the use of faith. And secondly, as a former atheist myself -- an evolutionist -- I want to pull back the curtain and show that the number one reason that people don't believe in God is not a lack in evidence, but because of a theory that many scientists today believe to be a fairytale for grownups.
Yea...this outta be good.
I hope the Bar and Grille will be open. It takes a few stiff drinks to begin to interpret the point of view of the theists. ;D
This should be good.

belittling the many great scientists and intellectuals who recognize the existence of a Supreme Being
Do you suppose those scientists and so called intellectuals had any credibility, or just puppets for the bible thumpers? Many times they end up having degrees from some unknown college, or there science can easily be discredited by scientists from respected schools.
Just wondering, since I did not see the debate.
I think it hardly even qualified as a debate. I think it was mentioned elsewhere (on the God sucks thread in the Rough House), that all of the hype surrounding this "debate" turned out to be much ado about nothing. I think even HH was disappointed.
The Christians put forth the same arguments that we constantly see from the proponents of intelligent design.
