Ooooh! Thanks, I love all 3 of them. :smitten:
I will save them and keep changing my avatar on a whim like we women do. LOL ;)
Yeah! Although, I must say, your current one is MEOW! Pretty sassy...
i'm a fan!
no crap.. 8)
So since this is what I looked liked in my younger 20's, you all would have dated me? :-\
Or would have you been the kind that were too afraid to ask?
I would've dated you. That is, if I liked girls. Do you have any photos to share?

i wouldn't have been afraid to ask, but honestly, i never based who i dated on looks.
I agree, awol...neither did I until my husband...he just swept me off my feet.
But, it's what's inside that matters.
Yep. Would've asked you. Shy was never one of my strong suits.
I dont even like girls, and I'd date her.
But hey, you know...
How are things going? Your "House" has been a little quiet lately.
Tell us about BEG's first Halloween experience!!!
And Christmas...are you all psyched for that?!?
Halloween was a downer. :-[
I haven't been in my apartment for a full year and I don't have Lil BEG with me - just one week on and week off so the kiddies don't know me all that well. So I bought 4 bags of candy (3 Musketeers, Snickers, Kit Kat and Grand Bar) and not one person knocked on my door!
I'm really psyched about Christmas this year even though Lil BEG knows what she is getting (her class ring and her Letterman jacket for her golf letter and cheveron) My sisters and I are doing a candy exchange in Dec. I'm looking forward to that (even though I have 4 bags of candy in my place already - lol). I'm also excited about putting up my mom's tree and wreath. It's going to be VERY special.
Well, aside from the lack of trick-or-treaters...sounds like you are prepared for the holidays! If I woulda known, I'd have brought my girls by -- only about 15 houses in our neighborhood participated. *sigh* But, they really didn't need the sugar anyways. LOL!
Thanks for the update...as it was said in another thread, the "first" holidays can be a little tough after losing a loved one (especially our Mothers), so it's good to hear that you are embracing it!
A candy exchange, huh? Is that going to be boxed chocolates or homemade stuff? Either way it sounds like a fantastic idea (and you can always re-gift it! LOL!). Just kidding...
I remember those days of class rings & varsity jackets -- so important in those days. You go mom!
The candy for the exchange is all homemade and we are using mom's recipes. :smitten:
I think we are sharing Divinity, Peanut Brittle, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Fudge, Peanut Butter Balls and Chocalate Covered Cherries.
Since mom passed last December, I can't really remember Christmas last year even though my husband had already moved out at that time too. I was just numb to life.
This year is going to be so much better.
Boy, Sunny. When you get up here, you can come to my neighborhood with the little ones for candy. Mega participation by nearly every house in the area, and lotsa kiddies in costumes to look at.
OK, BEG, you can just box and ship large quantities of the Divinity, Chocolate Fudge, and Chocolate-covered cherries right up here to me!!!!
No getting out of it, you got my taste buds going and my mouth drooling, and I didn't even provoke it.
Don't talk about it if you don't have enough for all to share!!!!!!

Well since he's put dibs on those candies, I would like the peanut butter fudge and the peanut butter balls. *yummy yummy*
I look forward to the homemade candies every year during the holidays. I used to make bunches and bunches of it for the grandparents, but don't have anyone to make it for anymore and I certainly don't need it. ;)
Welcome!
You'll just have to excuse the huge number of baby toys and equipment that clutters our house!
;D ;D ;D ;D
