Title: An Observation of the P.I. people
Post by: Flight 33 on April 05, 2007, 12:19:45 AM
Before I continue with my stories, I would like to point out that most of the Filipino folks in Olongapo were good people and not associated with the the lifestyle of the bar, hostess, and drug crowd.
Many were students, professionals, hard working, and God fearing people who more than balanced out the type I found myself indulging with from time to time.
I found these good people to be highly intelligent and informed of worldly affairs.  Who often spoke several languages and could quickly learn and accomplish highly technical skills in medicine, law, engineering,  and civic affairs.
My hat goes off to these folks and I take pride in having known them.
