Title: Hocking Hills State Park
Post by: ~Daisy~ on March 03, 2007, 06:13:35 PM
A place that has been on my mind recently. I haven't been in years. My middle son seems to have been conceived there, in a rental tee-pee, something we chose in lieu of a tent.

Hocking Hills is in south central Ohio, about an hour south of Columbus, just east of Chillicothe. Great place to go, lots of sights, trails, campgrounds...

Anyway, I love it there, and had been thinking of it and suddenly just moments ago Lefty looks up at me and says, "I miss Hocking Hills!"

I replied, "Me too! I was just thinking of Old Man's Cave!"

So...I wanted to share with you guys some photos. I will scan some of my own in next week at work and post them as well...

This is one of my favorite places...I will walk the natural bridge someday...

I went to college in Columbus, Ohio.

The park and Old Man's Cave are extremely familiar to me.

Ummm........I think a large number of people were conceived there.

ROFLMAO....Glad AJ's not the only one. I mean, I was blaming his wild personality on some kind of Indian Divine Intervention, but if he's not the only one ever conceive there--gulp--that means its just MY fault--Aaron's fault, yeah that's it!

What a beautiful place. I'll have to put that on my "to do" list, especially the tee pee
