We're looking to explore Indiana--and find a new place to see. Somewhere good to eat and something to do. Any ideas?

The Mayberry Cafe, in Danville, In......a very cool place, with great homemade stlyed food....not much to do there though....but, I have been thinkin about that place lately....
Really? I don't think I've really experienced that side of the state before. Hmm.
Aaron was asking if there were any restaurants in Indiana with the name "Chateau" in them. He says he has good luck with "Chateau" stuff. LOL

Here ya go...
Chateau Pomije Vineyard and Winery is located 35 minutes west of Cincinnati, Ohio, and one hour south of Indianapolis, Indiana. Chateau Pomije's restaurant and winery is one of the finest in Southeast Indiana. Our award winning restaurant serves some of the best food in the tri state. 100 acres of beautiful vineyards set the mood for the Chateau Pomije. The restaurant is a reconstructed 150 year old timbered barn. Surrounded by vineyards and overlooking our beautiful 3 acre lake. Come enjoy the quiet of the country, learn why the Chateau Pomije makes the best wine in the east and feel just like you are in Europe.
The Chateau Pomije is open year round and boasts the largest and oldest fireplace in Indiana.....now that sounds cool...
Daisy,
I so wished we lived closer. I LOVE to road trip. When I was single, I'd hit the road and stop where I felt like it. Now, with the kids, sometimes I'll say...let's road trip and we end up some place. I haven't done that in a while though..I think probably since we moved here, but every where we go here is a new experience.....still.
That's an awesome way to have some fun family time.
Henry! It's perfect! KEWL!!!
I love road trips, too. I've always wanted to have my own, edited version of Thelma and Louise.
Hey, did ya make the trip?...
No, we ended up spending the weekend doing house-related stuff...signing the buyers agreement, picking out brick, and eating Indian food. LOL
Hopefully in a couple weekends he'll be home and we can.
