Where are you Sunny?
Since the sun has gone down, I'm sure our ray is on the bright side of the moon>
LOL!! I know. I was just wondering why there were no posts from her here.
There have been lots of them!
I know, Loc...shame on me!
I'm working on some really good stuff.
(okay, maybe it's that darn performance anxiety)

Awww...you are so awesome, FCM...
I saw this a minute ago and it clearly said, "Sunny's Shine" and I quickly glanced at it and saw, "Sunny's Shrine" lol ...So put on your cap w/a tassel and pass the bucket. LOL
This is really nice and I'm excited. I know you'll have some great stuff for us.
I've 'seen' it say a few other things, too! LOL! It's a tongue twister, alright!
Yes, formulating lots of good stuff...yeah, that's it...;)
Suggestions are welcomed!
If I could just keep myself out of the darn coffee shop... ;D
hey we had fun there.
True that, nota! ;D
I have an idea. If you don't want to try it, don't worry about it, but it's a thread that I've been thinking about starting myself. What about the struggles that people go through to juggle their careers, education, children, romantic lives, etc., and still take care of "self"?
Sounds like an excellant topic...and right up my alley -- I'm just so preoccupied at the moment. KWIM?

Not exactly what you suggested...but, I have posted some of the research I've done on various topics. I dont' want to bore anyone...but, if there's a specific issue someone interested in, I *may* just have a paper on it! I've written so many over the past 2 years. LOL!

Talking to herself! I guess the psychology stuff is too deep...or too boring... :-\ :'(
But that's cool...we'll keep trying!
What makes YOU feel good...mentally, physically, spiritually? What helps you to relax?
Maybe I should change this thread to "Sunny's Ramblings"...
If you can't find me...just look behind the stack of boxes! I've started packing & making the "Yard Sale" pile...along with the "Donate to Charity" pile..
This is so exciting!.
You need a comments section so we can heckle you. LOL Only kidding. I wanted to comment on your Random thoughts section....you're an excellent writer. You painted a very vivid picture of that day, the thoughts and feelings of the moment and how they changed. I enjoyed reading it very much.
Thanks, MsMojo! I often know what I want to say, but have a hard time spitting the words out. I'm glad that made sense...it helps to get it out of your head sometimes.
I'll gladly start a Comments thread (although anyone can comment anywhere they'd like).

You know, I knew you'd feel that way, but I didn't want to interrupt your thoughts with mine...you expressed yourself so well that I felt as if I had stepped inside your head and memories and the last thing you want is for me to start babbling in there...trust me. LOL
Tomorrow is the Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale...so, just look for me in the garage pricing things & getting ready to make some cold cash!
I wish we had something like that up here. But its freezing out so even a personal yard sale is probably not going to be worthwhile.
Crazy, huh? Although we have a "cold front" rolling in...highs in the upper 70's & lower 80's. Brrrrr!
My only problem is that selling gets to be addicting -- so halfway into the morning, I'll be looking thru the house for more stuff to sell! ;D

Isn't it amazing when you really examine all the "stuff" you accumulate and start the really nitty-gritty decisions about what is absolutely essential to your life, that you find enormous piles of "stuff" that you just forgot about?
Nature hates emptiness.
The amount of "stuff" you own will expand to fill the space available.

Yeah, but what perfect timing considering the big move.
Yes...STUFF...that's what my garage (a.k.a. the storage shed) has become...a big pile of STUFF.
So it is perfect timing, considering the move.
Thanks for stopping by, FTW & Mojo.
Yer welcome.
BTW -- we had an impromptu garage sale last weekend. Made a couple hundred bucks. Not bad for sending our junk out to be tended by the neighbors for a while before they pass it on to someone else. Good for the economy.

A good motto to shop by:
One Man's Junk is Truly Another Man's Treasure.
That's pretty good for a yard sale, FTW...wow, that's a lot of cinnamon rolls.
Still anglin' fer them babies, eh?

Heck yeah! I like me some warm cinnamon rolls that someone else has baked.
Today I am slowly recovering the largely successful yard sale. Much like FTW, we were fortunate enough to make a couple hundred dollars & to shed a few things that have become dust collectors or no longer useful to us. May they be in a new loving environment where they'll be appreciated.
And if my husband were here today, he'd share his very profitable idea! It hit 90 degrees yesterday, so he put a cooler outside with bottles of water -- $.50...and SOLD OUT! 8)
Congrats!!!
And, yeah. ALWAYS have refreshments appropriate to the weather.
People love to sip, eat, and "shop."
Thanks, FTW! And no doubt....it certainly appeared to work.

Hi my good friend!
:smitten: Hi ya Sunny!!...sure have missed you around here!!!.. :smitten:
Yeah! It's a reunion! Hi Pari...Sandy Eggo...Kimmi...Henry!!!
Where has the time gone? I certainly didn't plan to be gone so long. My girls are now 5 and 7. We survived Kindergarten with the oldest (boy, that was a LOT of work!) and now 1st grade is even more demanding. The youngest starts school in the fall, at which time I will officially look for a Social Planner.
I started a new job in January 2009 which I absolutely LOVE, but they make me work. *sniff* All these things combined doesn't leave a lot of free time to have many extracurricular activities.
What have I missed, friends?
Exterminator cursed at me!!!...  ...and for no good reason either....
it has all been good around here Sunny!....we need your touch to make it complete though...

Nice to meet you both, AbbyTC & libby! I guess it's been about 4 years since the last visit...but, this place used to be my 2nd home. We traveled from different places together and forged some great online friendships. I'm a PA girl, too. South central area. Keep hearing some bad things about this year's winter-lots of snowstorms and cold. I'm hoping more for last December's weather - mild and no snow.

I haven't heard too much about this winter yet, but I'm ready for it! After 27 years of driving in NW PA weather, I FINALLY have a 4WD vehicle! Woohoo!! :snow:
<hugs> I'm just peeking in...have a job now that doesn't let me hang out playing all day long. Glad to see ya though!! :)

I haven't decided. I've had this car for 5 years now, it's a convertible and I've come to love the convertible. I love the car, but it's gotten to the point where if I have to put as much money into as my husband says I need to, I'd rather find a new car. I'm torn, I need room to carry kids around, and room to carry camping gear. So I don't know if I should go SUV, Truck, Van or another convertible. I'll be looking around for a little while first. My cars usually find me. :)

Hello there, parkerdivine. Could this be the one & only? If so, it has been a long, long time. How does life treat you these days?
I'm usually winding down by 9:00-9:30 myself...doesn't mean I stay asleep all night though. *sigh* The joys of being 10 years older. ;D
Pariann, I've never had a convertible....on my bucket list; however, I recently bought a Jeep Cherokee and I love it. The only downside is that it's a 5-passenger vehicle. Can't wait to use the 4X4 though!

Not sure the one and only, but I go by Cookie Parker in many places. Ten years does a lot to your body. I'm good. Divorced, but my ex asked me back and since I never fell out of love with him, I came back.
Winding down by even reading doesn't guaranteed sleep. I thought by this time in my life I'd be sleeping like a baby again....not so.
Great to see you.
