I don't know that it's being done directly at Putin's direction but am sure that he recognized what a destabilizing force Trump and his supporters would be to our society, our economy and our democracy if he could get him elected. What I doubt he knew was how quickly and completely that transformation would occur. I'm sure Putin is very happy right now indeed.
I'm certain Putin is ecstatic with what's happened to our Republic since Drumpf was elected.

The president has escalated his rhetoric on social media in recent days as the Democratic-led House of Representatives deals with more revelations involving the administration's role in the Ukraine scandal.
On Monday, he suggested Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff was guilty of treason.
