Hello to all my dear old friends here! First of all, I sincerely apologize for my silence since I retired. I hope you are all well. I have missed you but the freedom from computers after 30+ years in IT has made me a new person, a different person. In the past two and a half years I have made a conscious effort to forget everything I ever knew about computers except for the raw basics. I have been liberated. And I find myself busier now that I was when I worked. I now have four great grandkids. And this year I succumbed to a longtime dream and bought a new boat - the 40th Anniversary Heritage Edition Tracker. I have had some fun with that I tell you!
Anyway, I heard from a old friend recently and it reminded me how much I miss you all. I will try to check in occasionally and I may even have something to write every now and then.

Yep, there is two days in a boat owners life. The day he buys it and the day he sells it. I have own boats of all kinds since I was 16 years old. The first one was a 12 ft. punkin-seed racing boat with a 30 HP Mercury motor. Sure was fast. The last boat I had was a 17 ft. Sea Ray fish and ski with a 110 HP Mercury motor. I sold it 2 weeks ago. It is and was my last boat. I sure had good time with my boats. I hope you have fun and good luck with your boat. :sailor: :fish:
You do know that a boat is a hole in the water where you throw your money into regularly, all the time. :tiphat:
How cool to hear from you Bo D ! A few of us have been wondering what happened to yah!
Totally understand though. Maybe one day I will find myself in the very same situation. . .
Just give us a shout now and then so we know you're still sucking air please!

Yep I've heard it said. B-O-A-T break out another thousand. That's what I hope to avoid by buying the full package deal. We'll see!

Awesome news my Friend. Sounds like retirement is very much agreeing with you!
Glad to hear from you Bo D! Glad that you're no longer stuck at a desk, and working on computers or computer related issues all day long. I know exactly what that life is like. I'm still living it.
Enjoy that boat man, and please do stop by from time to time and let us know what's going on with you. We'll leave the light on for you.
Welcome back!
Retirement is great man.  January the 1st of this year I will have been retired 22 years, I got to retire at 59 :yeah: And after 38 years working for Ford Motor Co. I haven't miss one day working in that dirty, noisy, oily, hot place. :bliss: :choo: :choo: :choo:
Working for Ford, the best company in the world and having the UAW for a union, the best union in the world. They haven't missed a Ford retirement check or miss paying my UAW union benefits. Life is good so far, as long as Trump and the Republicans don't screw it up. All of us retirees have to worry about that. :salute:
May you live as long as you want and not want as long as you live. :island:
Hello old friend, and welcome back!
