Incident under way in Bangladesh wherein the perps have taken hostages within a public restaurant and are lobbing grenades at police. . .
Early, but the media is saying that it appears to be another terrorist attack. . .
In the Dhaka Diplomatic Zone. All US Embassy personnel are accounted for.
This follows a hacking death of a priest just yesterday.
ISIS is claiming responsibility for this hostage situation at this time. . .
How nice that we have some of these wonderful misunderstood people infiltrating our borders at the invitation of our POTUS. Of coures all they need are jobs and love......

^------ That attitude right there is playing right into their hands. You do realize that don't you?
Somewhere in the ether, George Harrison's Spirit is enraged this day.

Isn't that what they keep telling us though? Accept them, show them love, give them money and jobs and they will be fine.

No. Define "they".
Why are you indicting an entire sector of people based upon the acts of the minority?
The path to peace is the hardest one; the path to war the easiest.

The libs are "they". There is no path to peace with ISIS or radical Islam, it's their way or lose your head period.

Hogwash surrounding the libs. Extremists perhaps but not a general point of order amongst the average Lib.
I agree surrounding ISIS and their splinter organizations, but again, how is indicting an entire religion based upon the acts of the minority serving anything good? The average practitioners of the Islamic Faith are not ISIS; but they live within an arms reach of them. And many live here amongst us. They are not ISIS.
Holy hell. . . Now the mainstream media is marching out the "experts" and running through the "how do we" scenarios surrounding the hostages and rescue.
Local television is blacked out for fear of the terrorists obtaining inside information to enable them to avoid such things.
STOP speculating please! There is only one way this thing is going to end; deaths. And a lot of them. . .

Hey, if the libs can lump conservatives all in one lump it can run the other way, fair is fair.

So? Again, what does this have to do with the average, law abiding Muslim/Islamic individual?
Do I hold you responsible for extremist Christianity's idiocy? Should I?

Not that it matters but wasn't there a rabbi who also was killed or was that a different situation?

Just keep sticking your head in the sand and ignoring what's going on. You probably agree with them wanting Sharia law implemented here for them too.

Oh for cripes sake! :roll eyes:
How different from Sharia Law is old school Christian "Biblical" Law eh? (Rhetorical question and the answer is there is very little difference; and therein lies the danger).
Give me a friggin' break here lady; if you want to take your toys and go home then do it!

Dumbass, trying to use Sharia law in this country would be against the United States Constitution. :groan: What the fuck are you worrying about Sharia law for. Dingbat. :groan:

I have had significantly more formal education in theology than you have; and I can prove it.
And for the record Theology is the critical study of the nature of the divine. It is taught as an academic discipline, typically in universities, seminaries and schools of divinity.

So what does that have to do with them, the immigrants, trying to get Sharia law here and getting parts of it recognized in some places?

If the POTUS cannot get a simple bill through congress, just what makes you think an extremist religious zealot can get Sharia Law past them? :roll eyes:

Executive orders if the POTUS wants it or different states allowing it in their court rooms.

Even if the POTUS wrote an executive order, Congress can veto it down and so can state Congress'. A 2/3 majority in Congress can veto an executive order.

Congress can't 'veto' an executive order.

I thought they could if 2/3rd's majority vote against it.
According to what I read, Congress can try to repeal an executive order but technically the Senate and House could agree on a bill that would nullify the order. In the end, President could veto the bill forcing a two thirds vote by Congress to override the veto. But not sure how correct this information is.
