I receive text messages from the Madison County Emergency Management, and they have notified me that as the temperatures dip down even as I write this, the warming centers are open and available if they are needed. (It was 14 degrees as I finished up shoveling the drive, AGAIN, and the wind is whipping out of the north with gusts of 30 MPH.)
WARMING CENTER:
St.Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital
January 15 at 9:31am
With dangerously cold weather forecast for the coming days, St.Vincent Anderson Regional will continue providing assistance to individuals who need a warm place. During dangerously cold temperatures, if people need a place to get warm, they should go to our Emergency Room entrance and ask for Security. Security will then make appropriate arrangements for them.
