After drag racing off an on for many years, I am now going to step across the track so to speak. In 2015 I will be assisting track owner Steve Daniels in running historic Bunker Hill Dragstrip, in Bunker Hill Indiana. As he said, He is tired of doing a lot of the race day work to insure everything goes as planned, so he offered me the position to be his right hand man in the operation. This will be every Saturday and a few Sundays (two day events) Starting the first of April, and running through the end of October.
That being said, I will post the new schedule when it becomes available, and I hope a few of you can come out for a race or two. There will be many special events throughout the season that you can enjoy, and get exceptional entertainment value for the entire family.

Congrats!
Congrats Mr 442. Wish Bunker Hill was closer but I think it's about a 2 hr drive from where I am.

Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life!
I'll try to drag my tired old bones out that way a time or two this season!
That is great Mr442. Ole' Duke ain't promisin' anything but I have much unused vacation and even though the track is about 10 hours from Ole' Duke I might plan a road trip this summer on me steel horse and head your way. It would give me a chance to see some of this great country of ours and meet some fine folks from the great state of Indiana and a few others on the way.
Best regards,
Duke (needin' some wind therapy) Jupiter

We had a test and tune on the 4th, then kicked off the season on the 11th with the regular program. We were glad the weather finally cooperated
I will say this, my old ass was a draggin after a full day at the track. But I had a good time. Don't know exactly how I'm going to handle a couple of two day events later this summer, but with Tylenol and the like, I should make it.
