Thanks all. . .

As I am prone to do on this day each year, I performed some self-reflection this morning during the only down time I was to have this day, and a memory popped up.

I remember the day my late father turned the age I am this day. I remember it because of something he said that day to me, (which shall remain my memory); and I distinctly recall wondering what it would be like when I turned that age. This day I found out, and the fact is it isn't any different than the preceding birthdays I've had in my lifetime. . .

And another thought that popped into my head, that I shared privately with a few friends: A man born on this day in 1900, would have been the age I am today on the day I was born.

Also, my age corresponds to the year (last two digits) I was born.

Hummmm. . . .

Happy Birthday PH!! My son turns 13 tomorrow and I am proud of the young !man that he is becoming. Is he perfect, nope but he has made the past 11.5 years that we have him so much fun!

So I arrived home from work and my phone starts ringing. . . I answer it and hear, "Hi Poppy. Happy Birthday Poppy!".

A priceless call from my 3 year old grandson to wish me a happy birthday.

Brought tears of joy to my eyes.
