Title: POTUS - Next
Post by: Palehorse on October 05, 2014, 12:29:50 PM
The early projections surrounding who will end up as the candidates, surround Romney and Clinton.

IMHO, America has spoken surrounding Romney, so why is the GOP willing to go through what promises to be a losing campaign with him as their candidate?

Looks like 4 more years of democratic leadership are nearing; and this time it will be another historic moment in this nations history. A woman President!

Remember what Tagg said in December of 2012?  He said Mitt Rommey didn't really want to win.  :rotfl:

I don't think anyone here would expect you to vote for any Democrat regardless of platform.

I have before but I sure wouldn't vote for old Hil and if they decide to run Biden I wouldn't vote for him either.

Like I said, your reputation as an 'intelligent' voter precedes you.

I have nothing against Hillary Clinton, and if she's the Democratic candidate I will vote for her.

As for Joe Biden, I'd also vote for him because, unless somebody digs up something bad about him, he is a decent man. The kind who, like ordinary people, rides the train to and from work. (He lives in Maryland.) And he knows his way around when it comes to the protocol necessary for the office (as does Mrs.Clinton).

What difference does it make at this point?

 I assume you  mean what is going on in the world  right now. Religious fanatics, beheadings, people dying by droves in Africa -- to name a few. Seems to be one of those times I call "if it can happen it WILL happen." I can't imagine anybody would want to be POTUS right now.

To change the subject from reality to imitation of -- I watched a TV program tonight that is a lesson in politics -- a new series called "Madam Secretary," which, it has been suggested, is based on Hillary Clinton's time at the State Department. I thought it was great and will definitely watch it again.
