It's our country and it's our flag it should not offend them in the least. If it offends them why are they here?
I thought you right leaning people were all about self-control and following the rules. That's really all this boils down to.
The rules do not say "the American Flag" specifically. The flag of our country, flown in our country, is neither offensive, a threat, or racist and in no way should it be considered that way in the manner in which he has it displayed. Notice there are other people who had banners and such and nothing was said to them.
How do you know what the rules say?
