Maybe it would be a good idea for a company here to try, but I wonder what the cost is to convert the plastic back to oil?

I have seen reports on this process that say it uses more electricity than you could get from the oil being produced. So while it sounds terrific on the surface, it's really a waste of energy.

But the process itself is definitely worth looking at and perfecting. It seems to make more sense than some of the other ideas which don't seem to be working either.
You can get a lot of oil out of tires. Yes dirty worn out tires, even chicken and turkey feathers. :yes: But then and again it is still cheaper to get and use oil out of the ground. :yes:

This doesn't seem to want to come up. Just Goggle in 'getting oil out of old used tires' and you will see that there is oil in old tires. :biggrin: :yes:
