Anderson will experience another dose of extreme bitter cold Monday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 28. For this reason the City of Anderson Transit System (CATS) will provide its' services free of charge.
"We don't want to see anyone walking in these conditions," said Sam Pellegrino, director of CATS. "Our biggest concern is safety, so we want to provide an opportunity for everyone to get where they are going safely."
The City has also put in place warmer stations because of the weather conditions this Monday and Tuesday. Below are a list of the warmer stations by preference. Please contact Gary McCaslin at 765 623 3602 for if you are in need of a warmer station.
