Title: Breathtaking night sky and landscape scenes
Post by: me on September 29, 2013, 02:30:47 AM
Watching this made me want to go back out west and see the night skies again.  It is almost like you could reach out and touch the stars if you see them from an elevation like the mountains in Wy and a thunderstorm is both awesome and scary at the same time. Camping is a whole different experience if you sit out at night and watch the sky.

We could get some pretty good night sky views in the area where I grew up.  Now, here in South Florida, I can't see crap for all of the light pollution.

If it wasn't for the bad winters out west I think I'd move back to Wy.  Although it's a dryer climate and you don't feel the cold as much I still don't like snow and there is way too much of it in the mountains for too many months out of the year.
