Yep I did that this afternoon, gave the Goldwing her 40,000 mile oil change, then I did the clutch master/slave cylinder flush. Did it all in the closed up attached garage with fairly cooler air than outside. Even had a fan sitting in the doorway to the house, blowing cool air at me. Tough job, but someone had to do it.

I am getting ready to change me special girls (one of 'em) oil, adjust the drive belt, flush the coolant and inspect the brakes. Heck I just finished installing aftermarket exhaust yesterday. Now hopefully the "rainy season" is about over here in NC and I can spend some quality time with me "special girl".
:)

Looks like the rainy season over for now, but the heat season is back
Have you managed to get any trips in?
No I haven't, as a matter of fact, I just now rolled over 1000 miles this season. :( I was late getting my new tires on, so that delayed actually going anywhere for some time. Then when I got them on, my mother had issues that I had to attend to. And if that wasn't enough, I got tied up with a rush upholstery job on my son's 61 Galaxy project, which I still need to finish later this year. We have been out the past 3 weekends for day long rides, but that has been it. I am flying out and helping my oldest drive home from California in late September, so with any luck we can take off for a weekend after he is home to dog sit. But then again, my youngest and his fiance has our first grandchild due around the 10th of October, so.........
We are planning on doing something next June, and hopefully I will be ready for another oil change before then.
Sounds like you've had a busy summer.

Yup. I've been riding back and forth to work on the few days we've had a slight risk of rain, but this week I plan on getting in a full week of commuting aboard my steel horse.
Outside of that I have squeezed in a few rides within central Indiana area, and have logged 1200 miles thus far between the commutes and pleasure rides.
You'll dust me in short order I am sure, but soon I move to day shift and after work rides are on my to do list throughout the balance of the summer once that happens.

Yeah mid 90's her today.
I have logged close 6000 miles this year but many of those have been riding back and forth to work but heck I ride when I can.
