Post by: Y on July 08, 2013, 02:31:02 PM
Anyone else been paying attention to crime in Indianapolis - especially the murder rate?

The murder rate is sky high, but the news says crime is down.

Crime stats for Indianapolis are skewed though by Indy being considered the entire county.

Actual Indy crime stats are watered down by the low crime rates of the surrounding Marion Co. areas.

How about the Seventy-two people shot in a four-day period in Chicago?

Hardly a word spoken about it.

Not to mention, the topic IS Indianapolis NOT Chicago.

Now, it's not only the murder rate, but also home invasions!

Rash of home invasions

At least eight Central Indiana home invasions have occurred in the past two months.
