ty, sunny... (that was right after a shoulder dislocation at the driveway hoop.... ) thankfully, it doesn't do that anymore.
Was the surgery totally successful, ~vxn~?
though i was warned it would never be 100% (not that i remember it ever being so), it seems pretty good... occasionally i'll get a little crack or pinch--but nothing compared to before and NO dislocating!
Yeah. That's a relief in itself.
The "pinch" thing seems to be a common leftover.
the doctor promised that i'd have arthritis in a few years... but that still won't be as bad as it was before...
(massive damage... traumatic dislocation and break at age 4, it split my delt into 2 separate muscles, bone fragments and spurs, torn labrum... etc, etc... and it wasn't fixed until 22 years later.... for anyone who might have been unaware.)

Cool picture Ex. I think my absolute favorites were the rain drops (?). I love how you captured the splash. Although, I enjoyed the pictures of those beautiful shepards too. I'm guessing the one in your avatar is yours as well? Do you train them or have them trained to be guard dogs or are they just pets? Very smart animals.

The site is done in Flash so you'll need the Macomedia Flash plug-in and seems I remember an issue with firefox before...you might need to upgrade to the newest version.

I really should add some more pictures...I have thousands but the process is fairly time consuming because of the way I'm using portions of the pictures for the thumbnails. I crop them out with photoshop but have to note their exact location so that they go to the right place in the pic...if I forget the coordinates, I have to start all over. :mad:

Zombies are not that hard to find if you know the right incantation.
It's really not that complicated, just time consuming and I get bored easily. Not that I have ADHD or anything but...oh look at the pretty butterfly!

Thanks! Actually, the avatar pic is a friend's dog. Yes, we train in schutzhund (lots of info one the web if you're interested). I wouldn't exactly call them guard dogs but they are trained in protection.

I have a lab, but you know that. Was it a male? Nugget is about 100 lbs, but she was the runt and has always been kinda small. What color? If I ever win the lottery I think I'll have at least one each of every big dog. :biggrin:
my lab was a female, she was the runt too, pure bred black lab with no papers (so she was free)...

My dogs killed one of my last girlfriend's cats...she was not happy.

i used to be fluent in latin, spanish, and english.. and mildly passable in polish... no longer, i am afraid... those skills diminish without regular use...
I took French for 8 years in both grade school and high school but never used it much and have forgotten most of it. I lived in Germany for several years, though, and even though it's been some years, am still pretty fluent in the language...something to do with immersion, I think. My dogs are taught in German, of course.

i still know enough spanish for the important things like: con tu adios te llevas mi pantalones
spanish club in 8th grade and a hot latino best friend for the spanish, i took latin in high school, my grandfather wasn't allowed to speak english in the house as a kid... so he taught me a few things when i was a kid... i picked it up pretty easily.
