I was finally able to watch the series on demand. It was originally on the History Channel and if you haven't seen it and you enjoy history, then you should.
You need an additional choice:
"Don't give a s**t."

I did enjoy this movie....it was NOT a "feel good" movie...THAT is for sure. But the acting and the story was very good and interesting.
i know the wife of one of the descendants of the McCoys. ( i dont think i can say his name here), but he said the Hatfields started it. I dont watch much tv, so i havent seen it. Okay so I watch Young and Restless, but thats not tv, those are my friends and it is a real place and stuff....

I didn't think of that option. ;D
It honestly doesn't matter. The real lesson is the way a drop of hate can grow into something completely incomprehensible which truly destroyed two families and continues to taint them.
Buuuuut
From the outside looking in that's easier to see. It's also easier to see who appears to have started it and who passed up on various opportunities to end it.
That being said...no relation...wrong part of WV ;D
Mostly it is a story about stupidity and greed. Both sides.
Throw in a little false pride and testosterone and you've got a war.
Always is.
I bought this on DVD at Wally World over the weekend. Plan to watch it, sans commercial interruption, this coming weekend.
I really enjoyed it......great acting!
