You have got to be kidding.
"Mainly, we want this to be a safe haven for folks who want to raise their families," PUP organizer Dr. Richard Geringswald told WFTS-TV. "Asking God's protection from ne'er do wells and evil doers."
This might have made some sense -- except for the fact that churches knowingly hide such a great number of ". . . ne'er do wells and evil doers. . . ." within their walls.
My experience has been that the congregations of churches are chock-full of those who are there to be seen and/or are praying for crop failure for the wild oats they continue to sow, as well as absolution of sin from the people they've screwed (literally and figuratively) -- all in the name of good business practices, of course.
I think more of these ceremonies ought to take place in order to remove the curses that have been inflicted on them in the guise of "blessings."
Sorry but I see both as ridiculous.

Hey, didn't you guys hear about our special anti-blessing decoder that over-rides all symbollical blessing washers to keep our original blessings safe from such attacks?
k'mon....where you been?
It they are going to bless a highway it should come with an iron clad warranty that no one will be killed or injured. let us pray.
 :preach: :pope: :haha: :haha: :haha:

I did too until I read more carefully ....
"If they will not submit to God's way of living, then the prayer is to have them incarcerated or removed from the county."

Ya, that is a bit over the top since it could be open to all kinds of things. Smoking, drinking, watching TV, dancing, listening to music, electricity, cars,.......huge can of worms there.....
Wouldn't it be fun to go back to living like the Amish.

Not to mention the weird disease from all the in-breeding.
Dan, I'm constantly amazed at some of the shit that goes on in this state north of about a Palm Beach to Naples line, and this subject is a prime example of that. I actually saw a sign one time in Indian River County that said, "Thank God for George and Jeb Bush!"

I assume. It was one of those commercial billboards. Some person or group had to have paid to have the sign say that for however long it did.
Free speech.

You're say that it's OK just like what Ted Nugent said, "Come this November I'll be dead or in prison if Obama is elected." Is that how I read you statement.

Point out what's wrong with that statement Troll. It isn't threatening and it isn't anything that would incite.

Ain't no worse, in fact not as bad, as some things said about Chaney and that was personal attacks against someone. Him saying "he'd" be either in jail or dead if Obama is reelected is mild when you compare some of the things that were said against Bush even. Maybe he went a little overboard but he didn't threaten anyone or wish a horrible misfortune would fall on them so quit with the personal accountability thing unless you're gonna apply it both ways.
Every bad word about the black hearted son of a bitch Cheney was true. He should be in prison for war crimes.
But you know so much, so sure tell me anything that a Democrat said about Dingle Berry George W. was that bad. You know in your black heart that George W. was the worst president that America has ever had, including Herbert Hoover.
:zoners:
