Title: Herald Bulletin Will Be Charging For Online Viewing

. . .For print subscribers, the digital subscription will cost just $1.95 for a month or $19.95 for a year. The price for a digital subscription is low, as well, for those who do not subscribe to the print edition of The Herald Bulletin, just $5.95 a month or $59.95 for a year. . .

LMFAO! THIS will be the death of the outhouse toilet paper.

Their print version is not worth the dollars they charge for it. There is NO friggin way I'll pay 59.95 to view what amounts to CRAP on line. . .

I typically stop by that place a few times a week to see if there is anything worth reading, which there 9.5 times out of 10 is not. . .

Time to delete another bookmark . . .

It begins 1/30/2012. . .

I won't miss a thing about that rag - print or on line versions.

Hell, there is more Anderson news in the Muncie Star Press than the HB!

They are slitting their own throats in my opinion.

They will lose most, if not all, of their on line revenue generation via the dollars the ads generate based upon the hits they experience. ALL of that will go away.

Most people do not subscribe because it is a piss poor excuse for a newspaper anyway and doesn't contain much of anything surrounding newsworthy information. And typically what is there is nothing more than local, politically slanted propaganda.

Anything I've read in that paper or online surrounding a newsworthy event, read as if it were written by a high school aged person; and typically filled with speculative information that ends up being far short of the facts or circumstances.

I cancelled my subscription years ago because of that. And it has not changed since. . .

I wondered when they were going to get around to that.  Guess they figure that people are reading it online instead of subscribing but i think they're gonna find out no one is reading either way except for a few diehards like my mom and one of my daughters.

There are a few things I like in it.  But $59 to read in on my computer, Hell no, that would be a joke.  :haha:

The rag all of my life, it has been Republican, anti-union and anti-common workers.  If they stop printing it I won't have anything to wrap my garbage in.
