Anderson police arrested Shawn Gibson, 40, of the 1600 block of Raintree Drive, Anderson, at 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of West 53rd Street. Bond was set at $10,000 on charges of Class C felony battery and Class D felony criminal confinement.

I do. Last I knew he was driving a truck too, so this will probably put that job into jeopardy. :eek:

That's exactly the last thing I'd heard, and if that's still true, you're right. I know several truck drivers and companies will get rid of you right now if you're arrested on suspicion of DWI/DUI. And they have at least two kids at home. :no:
As of a couple of months ago, he was not driving a truck. He was working at his own business recruiting drivers for trucking companies.

Holy crap; I'd missed this! Any updates?
It's not a given that he'll be going to prison; depends on the situation. I know someone who was once charged with criminal confinement because he wouldn't give his drunk girlfriend the keys to her car and she called the cops and said he wouldn't let her leave.
