The article cites the "top ten", but I know there are more and I know that YOU know what they are. ;D
Disclaimer: This will seriously confuse some folks as they won't be able to understand why the comments are idiotic, so they will write this off as a "difference of opinion".Quote
10: "I mean, we are facing so many very, very important issues and those are the issues that you heard talked about last night from the Republican convention, and that you'll hear my husband talk about. And those are the really important issues facing our country right now." – Laura Bush
9: "I feel the best way to ensure Americans' freedom is to tighten restrictions on that freedom in any way possible. Only through wiretaps, illegal searches and seizures, unfettered government intrusion, a controlled media and a complete crackdown on free speech can we ensure the liberties of all people." – John Ashcroft
8: "But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies." – Sarah Palin
7: ""I just wish Katrina had only hit the United Nations building, nothing else, just had flooded them out, and I wouldn't have rescued them." – Bill O'Reilly
6: "We needed to have the press be our friend... We wanted them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported." – Sharron Angle (Tea Party)
5: ""In the 21st century nations don't invade other nations." – John McCain
4:" "That's my advice to all homosexuals, whether they're in the Boy Scouts, or in the Army or in high school: Shut up, don't tell anybody what you do, your life will be a lot easier." – Bill O'Reilly
3: "You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror." – W. Bush
2: "Barack Obama... chose to use his name Barack for a reason – to identify, not with America – you don't take the name Barack to identify with America. You take the name Barack to identify with what? Your heritage? The heritage, maybe, of your father in Kenya, who is a radical? Is – really? Searching for something to give him any kind of meaning, just as he was searching later in life for religion." – Glenn Beck
1: "I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican." – Dan Quayl

Don't know why I'm even bothering 'cause I know you won't watch either of these but if you do happen to watch them both to the end I would like to know why his slip ups should be treated any differently. Just, in your own words not some off the news thing you've been programed to say, tell me why you look at his mistakes and goof ups differently.
Don't go digging up more Republican or Tea Party goofs and calling them stupid and uneducated to detract from what I'm asking I want to know.

Go for it and you can keep trotting out that same one or two examples that you always do.
This question has been answered in a zillion different ways. One-third of those attempts, by me. Please don't act as if you've asked the question without an answer.
The difference between someone who misspoke and recognized as a total idiot is cumulative. It's pretty good sign that they're stupid if they are constantly making statements that are enormously inaccurate.
I don't know what it says about a person that not only doesn't see it, but fights for their blatantly misinformed statements. Even when the pattern is identified, you guys continue to deny.
Palin, Bachmann and Bush have an established track record of being idiotic.

Today's ludicrous statement du jour is courtesy of Rick Santorum:
Quote"Would you allow no exceptions for cases of rape on incest?" Fox News host, Byron York asked."Polls have shown that large majorities of Americans support some exceptions for abortion. Are your views too much, even for many conservatives to support?"
"That child is an innocent victim," Santorum replied. "To be victimized twice would be a horrible thing. It is an innocent human life, genetically human from the moment of conception. We in America should be big enough to try to surround ourselves and help women in those terrible situations who have been traumatized already. To put them through another trauma of an abortion, I think is too much to ask. So I would absolutely stand and say that one violence is enough."
Carrying the child of your rapist is apparently not traumatic.

Out of the mouth of George Herbert Bush, September 11, 1990.
"Out of these troubled times, our objectives - A NEW WORLD ORDER - can emerge. Today, that new world is struggling to be born. A world quite different from the one we have known."
Never before in history did we every have a president talking about turning our country into a one world order. After 8 years of his son, George W. Bush, this one world government was born. It happen with all of the outsourcing of our jobs and our right to control our foreign trade with other foreign counties.

Yes, he said them, but I don't think the word he said meant the same thing as when George H. Bush said his. Old George H. meant slavery for the middle class and he has and the Teabagger has almost got their wish, depression and total default of America credit rating, you didn't make it, but you sure lowered it. The question is, who said it first and who thought it up. Why it was Republican George H. Bush.
Who started all of the bad things that has happen to this country. Why it was Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich's contract for America. Ronald Reagan and David Stockman "Trickle Down Theory".
With the deregulation of the stock market and the banks and tax cuts for the rich after George W. and the Republican chicken hawks started two unfunded wars and a unfunded drug plan. You got that right. But what get me is a daily poll of where Obama stands on the economy. One day he's up and one day he's down. Who in hell care about a daily poll. How in hell could it be correct. The situation we are in is like a big bank CEO who's bank was worth a billion. Though bad management, out right theft, letting you friend and buddies have fraudulent loans and just squandering money on wars and take breaks to his friends. He broke the bank, lost every thing. After all of the crooked dealings and out right fraud he or any of his friends and buddies don't go to jail. He just walks away Scott free.
In come the new CEO into a broken bank, no assets, no credit rating and hands tied from spending any money to bring it back. The stockholders are mad because the new CEO hasn't got all of the money back and has forgot about the guy that caused it all, George W. Bush. We're already broke and we can't give anymore money away to the rich and foreign counties. What would you do as an electronic whiz. Just Asking. I see all of your slams against Obama, where are the jobs Boner the Tan Man and you said the Tea Party is going to create.

first of all, I would fix this labor problem we seem to have.....like having China build the martin luther king memorial....or the bay area bridge being built in China and floated over here for us to install.....it would have cost us another $500,000,000 dollar for our people to build the same bridge.
We got to find a happy medium on our labor rates....I think it would be better to have millions working at $20 per hour plus some benifits than a few working at $40 per hour and great benifits...WE NEED TO PUT PEOPLE BACK TO WORK!
We can be hard headed and lose
OR
We can be reasonable and win

I'm just saying.....if we did not artifically inflate wages a few years ago....we would STILL have decent wages today and probably low unemployment.
I have not had any raises in quite some time and I am fine with that......we have not layed off ONE employee, and we are still keeping our doors open.....IF and WHEN this economy ever bounces back and we return to making profits as we once did....then good times will roll....but, I would not have the nerve to BITCH about making more money when I know for a fact there profits are not there. I have kept my job, paying my bills and having a blast raising my family....I am extremely content with that.
I wish MORE folks could enjoy the same....with more companies like Honda, who has an average pay of $17 buck an hour with very good benefits....they have kept the Unions out, but they are fighting them...and if the unions gets in....the willl leave!....Who in the hell win then?

My point is, we need MORE jobs like that in greenfield....they do not get the pay that a UAW job brings, but it is a very decent pay with very decent benefits...

Aren't we happy they have a job. At least they make enough to shop at Walmart and buy Chinese and foreign products and help the Chinese and Mexican economy. Plus the Japs get all of the profit the scabs make for them.

Henery don't every ask me what my plan is to save America, AGAIN. Until you tell us a plan that will work..
Your plan right now is cut spending, cut taxes for the super rich, small business and corporations. Keep on giving corporation welfare, do away with all regulations on small business, big business, banks and stock market, cut OSHA, cut Department of Education.
Plus make unions illegal, destroy Social Security, Medicare, Medicade, make more free trade treaties, make America a Christian country. Oh yes, do away with the payroll tax cut for the working man and women. Do away with unemployment.
