Here on the Unknown Zone we have some very intelligent people, Brainy, aged with time and experience. Who have questioning minds.
I thought it would be interesting for the men and women of the Zone to tell us their deepest thought and why. I know it could be interesting if they would take a little time to speak on them.
On this subject we won't criticize their thoughts. Only if there is actual provable proof that they are wrong.
So put on you thinking cap and fill us in. I think this could be fun. Especeially for you guys that just drop in a see what the people are saying. Limber up your fingers and write and this isn't a English class where everything has to be correct and we do have spelling check.
I'll start off with this. Did you every think that there is more suns (stars) in the Universe than all of the grains of sand on every beach and deserts on earth. Golly that's a lot of suns (stars) and around them there is most likely planets round each one of them. And some people think we are the only life in the Universe. What do you Think?

I believe that if one takes the time to closely examine the diversity of nature, just within our own planet, it is hard to deny that there HAS to be other planets like this one, and thus other forms of physical and intelligent life somewhere within the universe. No way momma nature is going to build such a massive room and only have one thing in it!
Additionally, I believe that everything that is, planets, elements that make up space and living things, and the mass of space itself, all consist of energy; which is most often represented by light, a direct byproduct of energy. Energy takes a hard to imagine variety of forms, and within each form there are also an infinite number of levels.
It explains the ability of some people to "read the minds" of others, the ability of "twins" to "feel" or "know" when something is wrong with their other half, despite being physically separated by miles, and validates a "mothers intuition". It explains how an atom split into two separate parts, and physically separated by a distance equal to half the planet, can instantly synch vibration patterns, one to the other, when one or the other's vibration pattern is disrupted.
I believe one form of this energy is utilized as a universal type of communication, that enables every single thing in the universe to be aware of and instantly communicate with one another; proving that the speed of light is NOT the speed limit within the universe.
I believe that when our physical life ends in this place, we assume our true form, one of energy, and take our place in the universe within that form; which means each of us are indeed eternal, but not in the physical form that we currently assume to be the interpretation of life. Indeed, life as we as humans now "know" it, is in all probability just a stage of mutation that our true being endures in order to impart a level of experience within our eternal state.
Well, I think it would be arrogant of us to assume that we're the only plant w/life in the universe. Part of me thinks it's a shame that everything is so far away that we aren't able (or haven't invented the means yet) to explore more. The other part hopes that we aren't ever able to. I don't know what planets w/other life forms would look like, but ours has been treated poorly and finding other inhabitable planets would surely cause the destruction to spread.

It really takes some deep thinking to try to realize just how big the Universe is. The nearest star is 4.3 light years away. With light traveling at 5.9 Trillion miles in one year.
If we had a space ship that could travel at the speed of light, which Einstein says is impossible. It would take 4.3 years to get there. I think we are stuck here on earth for a long, long time.
Have you ever sat down in a darkened room got comfortable and thought about the Bible, how it came about, how is was written and why it was written. Well I have and I have also sat down in front of my computer and read a whole lot about it.
For one the bible wasn't written until the 4TH century. King Constantine was having trouble with the church and they were not backing him up. So he gathered a group of religious leaders and they sat down a wrote the bible.
There was 72 book of the bible and they shortened it to 22. Leaving only what they thought would bring them more power and money.
What some people believe is the King James bible was written in Latin and the church leaders would not let the sheeple read or understand what it said, unless it came through the priest lips.
In 1370 John Wickcliff translated the bible from Latin to English. The Pope wanted him dead and chase him for years and finally the church and the Pope burned him at and stake as a heretic.
William Tindale rewrote it, the Tindale bible and the Pope hated him so bad. That after he died and was in his grave. The Pope had him dug up and burn at the stake and his ashes spread out though the land. But the Pope didn't know that he was spread the Tindale bible all over the land.
The bible is not the creation of man but religious men who wanted power over the sheeple and the greed for money. Just think there are people in this 21ST century that want to bind us to a lie and these people are doing it for power and money.
Tell me if you think I am wrong and why. There is a lot of smoke and mirrors in the bible, but the sheeple are afraid to speak out about it.
Let us  :preach: :pope: and holy :ghost: Somebody say Amen. Somebody pass the plate.

There are 8 different Christian Bibles. Rewritten many, many times by hundred of different people. Plus there is many other religions bibles. Which one is right, if any and why do we need to follow them or even have one. They were all written by men, religious leaders to control you. :rotfl:
Read them until the end of time and you still won't know that they weren't written by the invisible guy in the sky. Who watches you every minute, every hour, every day, every year as long as you live. Writting down every sin he thinks you did was wrong, even in your mind or dreams. If you break one of his laws or you sin, he will send you to hell and burn, smite you forever and ever, because he loves you. Now just think about that. Hee, Hee, Hee!
You can see that there are no deep thinkers about the Bible. In the 21ST Century why don't we hear of people talking to burning bushes. Hearing some one telling someone to blow trumpets to take a walled city and killing every living thing and taking the gold, silver, bronze and iron back to God's Treasury.
It sound like they had Jerry Farwell, Pat Robertson, Joel Osteen, Terry Randell, James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Jimmy Swiggert type religious leaders back then.

They had deep thinkers back then, but in that day they tended to call them philosophers and in some cases, crazy. As civilization progressed some of those philosopher's words are to this very day the subject of college level courses, and continue to be a spark for modern day thought.
In this day and age, anyone saying that they spoke to a burning bush, or heard trumpets prior to or during a cataclysmic event, would immediately be subjected to a round of psychological testing and examination, and legal hearings in order to determine their sanity; after which they would be incarcerated for the rest of their natural lives, or until their drug saturation levels reach a point where they are rendered a zombie and thus not a threat to human life or themselves. (Whichever comes first).
When someone uses the term "psychic" today in connection with describing themselves or another individual, the first thought that runs through the average person's mind is "whacko, crazy, or con-wo/man". Period. And a lot of the time those same individuals who have those thoughts about a psychic individual, believe without question descriptions of the human beings back in biblical times, possessing these very same abilities that are contained within the bible. . .
I guess if you are a psychic today, then you need to get onto the editorial board of one of those entities doing a "re-write" of the bible, and get your name inserted into it somewhere, eh? :icon_twisted: (Anyone want to bet ol' Jerry, Jimmy, and Pat are trying to do just that?)
Oh the good old days. I remember when I was a just a young sheeple. The story of the Garden of Eden. How we were brain washed on how that mean old snake talked Eve into talking Adam into eating those apples that God told them not to eat. They were bad people and needed to be punished. Because they sinned.
Now why would God create two beautiful perfect people and placed them in a perfect place. When put a beautiful perfect apple tree in it and tell the two perfect kid not to eat of it.
They don't eat the apples, so God put a snake in the perfect garden and the snake talks them into eating apples.
Then God throws out the innocent perfect kids, because they ate apples out into the cold cold world with a curse on them and their kids and their kids and their kids for every and every for eating an apple.
Now God must have realized that he really screwed up. So he come back to earth and has himself killed on the cross so he can forgive them for the sins he put on them in the first place.
Now if you truly believe that. You got a screw loose and part of the rest of the 33% of the Christian right wingnut fools.
Ever wonder what would really happen if we closed all of our military bases outside of US territory? Would NK attack SK and would China try to take over Taiwan (sp?)? Would we be better liked as a country? Just wonderin'.

What difference would it make with the few troops we have all over the world. We were flat on our ass at the start of World II. Flat on our ass at the start of the Korean war.
And if the Chinese attacked Taiwan and North Korea attacked South Korea, we would be still flat on our ass. Over extended with two wars that George W. started. No manufacturing to make war material, because George W. and the Republicans sent our manufacturing plants overseas to China, Taiwan and South Korea.
I have really thought deep about this and the only way I see it. Is to throw our right leg over our right shoulder, our left leg over our left shoulder and kiss  our ass goodbye.

The only thing that keeps China and North Korea off of us is the thousands of atomic and hydrogen bombs we have. China will destroy us economically by killing our manufacturing and loaning us money driving us into bankruptcy. Why fight us, they are cleaning out clocks now. And our people in Washington is letting them get by with it with bad trade dealings. :trustme:
What about the economic aspects of bringing all troops home from everywhere? It would affffect the economies of the areas around the bases and who knows what else. Of course we could have a smaller armed forces, maybe, but what kind of jobs would all the people who were discharged be able to find? Lots of things to consider.

What does Germany, England, Japan, Wake Island, Korea and several other countries need our troops for. They have been there since World War II. How many Billion or maybe Trillions of dollars have we spent on them. I say get them off our teet. They are all grown up.
The guys in Korea will be the first to die. If North Korea comes across the border like the did the first time they will be killed the first day.
Anne you surly know what President Eisenhower said about the military complex. He said they would bleed us dry and they sure have.
Can you believe it the United States is fighting a bunch of rag head Muslims using old Russian rifles and single shot rocket propelled grenades. No navy, no air force no modern weapons at all. We have been fighting these nuts for going on 7 years.
I answered you questions, what would you do?
I can believe it, it is not conventional warfare and we are constrained by the fact that we are not really "at war" (although I think some of the troops might disagree with that). The fact is that we will never win, imo. It is another Vietnam, without the idiot protesters. I think there would be a lot of consequences if we suddenly pulled out of everywhere, some good, some bad and probably a lot we won't forsee.

You said it. There would be hell all over the world if we cut off the money to the dictators and leader in these countries that are bleeding us dry.
Myself, I would love to see it and think of all of the money we would save. Maybe then the Republicans will leave Social Security, Medicare and Medicade alone. Nawww. They want all of the money to go to the upper 2%.
Anne how would you like to live without Social Security which you have paid into all of these years and the same thing for Medicare. Then when you're in your late 70's of 80's and require 24 hour care, you can't get into a nursing home because there is no Medicaid. That's what they have planned for us.
What did they say about Hitler. When they came for the Jews, no one spoke up. When they came for the mentally ill, no one spoke for them. And when they came for us, there was no one to speak for us. That's the Republican plan. :devil29:
I think a Catholic priest said that, but I would not like to live without my ss, haven't started medicare yet, but so far my husband has been ok on it. From what I can tell neither side has a viable plan.

I know that you will defend the Republican until the cows come home. One reason is, the Republicans don't want to pay any extra tax to keep it and to defend it.
I would pay extra taxes to keep and improve it. But I wouldn't trust the Republicans with my secruity net or the rest of the American security net, We have million of slave laborers who ship they products in to this country with out paying any Social Securtiy, Medicare and Medicade payments. That is what is killing our protection.
China ships their products into this country for 3 1/2% tax. They charge us 25% on more on our products, Tax the Communist bastards 25% tariff and put it in our health plans. But ho, no the rich top feeders wouldn't get the cream that floats on top.
