It's been a while since I've posted any pictures of my boy so I thought an update might be in order...

Ain't fair, the ball didn't have a chance.
He is one fine specimen Ex. Beautiful animal! He has grown so much!
They get big fast; huh, PH?

Just like children too!
I have a picture of my dog when he was a pup on my fridge in the garage. He's on my lap and so small. . . When I compare it to the animal he is today I am amazed at how quickly he grew and the size he has attained.
Its also very amazing to realize his personality has not changed very much since then, although his abilities have increased 100 fold. (I take that as validation that my wife and I did things right in training him).
I'm sure you see the very same things with Axel that we do with Max. It's a point of pride to own a well behaved and obedient animal that is happy in its place within the "pack", and strives to exceed your expectations of them.
You said it extremely well, PH.
He's so beautiful! :smitten:
Seeing your dog makes me miss the wolf we had for a while. He has the same look in his eyes of doing anything to please our wolf had. We took him from an abusive situation but you could tell he had had some training at one time because it showed. He had even been trained to a leash and was easy to walk.
These are beautiful pictures and your dog is so cute.

By that view he has filled out QUITE nicely! A very
fine specimen indeed!
His muscle tone and structure appear exemplary, and by my limited view I'd say he is on the high end surrounding muscle mass! (Key attributes that owe their thanks to genetics and responsible ownership - 50/50! At least from my perspective.)
As a fellow canine junkie, let me be among the first to thank you for being a responsible and caring master!
I could say the same to Mrs. Horse. :sneaky:
J/K Sorry  Sometimes I can't help myself.

No need to thank me, PH; having this noble beast as my BFF is thanks enough all by itself!

Got a question. If the the neighborhood kids throw a ball into your yard, do they ever get the ball back? Especially without any teeth marks on it.

Good lookin' hound! I'll have to get some pics of our rescue Weim and put them up.
It's a good feeling to see an animal as well taken care of as yours is Ex. He is a beautiful dog.

Question. Do you ever use him for stud? He sure looks like he could make some fine puppies.
