This "1 in 5" number seems to keep cropping up. I really don't think it's coincidence.
"With all the controversy in the media over the security full-body scanners and pat downs at airports, a CBS poll finds four-in-five people (81%) are in favor of the full-boxy scanners, while just 15% say they're opposed."

[close enough, anyway]

I for one am sick of the people who claim they are so modest that someone might see their picture. The people I have seen complaining are big fat asses like me. My God give me a break. Who in hell would want to see a naked picture of them.
What I would like to see them do is take about 50 people, half men and half women of the same built, take a picture of their scanner picture and let them pick themselves out. I don't think they could do it. It's a stupid red herring.
The scanners are quick and easy. If the people who don't want to take it. Let the security officers do a body cavity search on them. :rotfl: :rotfl: I wonder what the cry babies would do then.

I think it should be "don't want strangers handling their junk"
Or maybe ...
1 in 5 Americans are mentally ill, Tea Party members who don't want strangers seeing their inadequate equipment.
Off topic ... but if a screener wanted to grope me, I would just smile and ask for a female screener to do it. And if they insisted a male do it, I would just smile anyway and pretend to enjoy it. :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted:

Wouldn't that take a MRI of their head :wall: to prove that there is nothing there. Well, maybe rocks. :rotfl: :rotfl:
