Title: Fall Festival
Post by: LOsborne on October 04, 2010, 07:58:50 PM
Hey y'all, it's the first week in October -- and here in the Devil's Playground, that means Fall Festival!

If you've never been, it's worth the trip. Heck, the city even runs "lunch shuttles" from downtown so you can hit the food booths without wasting your lunch hour looking for (or paying for) a parking space.  This year's feature is Fried Turkey Testicles.

Just between us, I'll confess I haven't attended in more than a decade. Last time I asked the kids if they wanted to go, they wrinkled their noses and said, "Nah, it smells like people threw up down there." I think this is only true at night, but lacking personal experience, I can't swear to it.

Yeah. Seems like one would need to consume quite a few of them to make a meal. I don't see the return on investment.

It creeps me out that 11% of those voting favored the turkey testicles. . .

Its presently ranking right up there with the tom turkey milker position I see listed from time to time on the job boards. . .   :spooked:

You were serious about turkey testicles? and I thought the idea of fried Snickers was bad.  :spooked:
